New Classrooms Reimagines K-12 Education

Launched by leaders of the awarding winning personalized education program, School of One, New Classrooms was born from the belief that today’s model for delivering education – one teacher to 28+ students in a classroom – does not sufficiently adapt to individual student learning styles and creates a nearly impossible challenge for teachers trying to balance their students’ differing needs with set grade-level curriculum. By reimagining the role of educators, the use of time, the configuration of physical space and the use of data and technology within K-12 schools, the New Classrooms models for instruction confront and remedy the assumption that all students arrive on the first day of school with the same academic foundation.
New Classrooms complements the role of teacher-led instruction with other instructional modalities such as independent learning, collaborative learning and virtual tutoring. In doing so, New Classrooms redesigns the classroom experience to better meet the needs of each and every student.
