Principal's Report

Introduction

As Principal of fore-mentioned school, I recognize that if one of my students is selected as a Bezos Student Scholar, I will also be invited to receive an all-expense-paid trip to the Aspen Ideas Festival as a Bezos Educator Scholar from June 26-July 2, 2012. If I cannot attend, I will identify a respected and experience school administrator or classroom teacher from within my school to attend the festival as a Bezos Educator Scholar. I understand the Bezos Scholars Program @ The Aspen Institute is a rigorous leadership development program that requires a yearlong commitment from the Student and Educator as Bezos Scholars. I fully endorse both the student(s) applying and the accompanying Educator Scholar Nominee and believe they are best candidates to represent my high school. I also understand that the Bezos Educator Scholar will work closely with the Bezos Student Scholar in creating a Local Ideas Festival at my school during the 2012-2013 academic year.
