This Privacy Policy explains how information about you is collected, used and disclosed by the Bezos Family Foundation (the “Foundation"). This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect when you use the  Foundation website at www.bezosfamilyfoundation.org/ (collectively the "Foundation Site"). For the privacy policies applicable to the various program sites operated by the Foundation, please see the websites for such programs: Bezos Scholars Program; Students Rebuild; and Vroom (the “Program Sites”).

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you an email notification).

Collection of Information

Information We Collect from You

The Foundation Site does not provide opportunities for you to provide information directly to the Foundation. However, we may collect information from you if you email the Foundation. In addition, when you access the Foundation Site, we automatically collect certain information about you, including:

  • Log Information: We log information about your use of the Foundation Site, including the type of browser you use, access times, pages viewed, the Foundations seen and completed, your IP address and the page you visited before navigating to our Services.

  • Device Information: We collect information about the computer or mobile device(s) you use to access the Foundation Site, including the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers and mobile network information.

  • Information Collected by Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies: We use various technologies to collect information, and this may include sending cookies to your computer or mobile device. Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive or in device memory that helps us to improve our Site and your experience and see which areas and features of our Site are popular and count visits and traffic data.
